Good morning. I thought I would follow-up last week’s series on the Fantail Goldfish with one on a Telescoping Goldfish (Carassius auratus in the Family: Cyprinidae). This unique looking fish can be found naturally in China, Japan, and other parts of Asia, and is also known as the Dragon Eye Goldfish and Celestial Eye Goldfish.

I hope you enjoy this short series on this truly odd, but lovely fish, and find the text provided in the comment section informative.

Inside Birkenau: More shots from Auschwitz/Birkenau. These photos are taken in side the Birkenau concentration camp. Birkenau was mostly an extermination camp while Auschwitz was more of a concentration camp. They are located very close to each other.

Lion Cubs At Play: The Lions at Knowsley Safari Park. Most of the park is pants, but it’s worth the money just to drive through the Lion enclosure. Magnificent. Because it was a quiet March day, we went round half a douzen times and it’s just amazing to have a lion brush up against your car.
